Privacy Policy
Last updated May 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Prime Chase Data LLC, operating the Dogwood marketplace (“Dogwood,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and shares information, and the choices you have. It applies to the Dogwoodwebsite and services.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you provide: account details (name, email, password), creator profile and portfolio content, client briefs, messages you send through the platform, reviews, and booking records.
- Information collected automatically: device and usage data, log information, and cookies or similar technologies used to keep you signed in and to understand how the product is used.
- Information from other sources:for creator profiles we pre-build, publicly available business information (such as a studio name, location, website, and public portfolio imagery) from the creator’s own public website or channels; and limited information from our service providers (for example, payment status from Stripe).
Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Dogwood does not store full card numbers.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- operate the marketplace — match clients and creators, enable messaging, bookings, and delivery confirmation;
- process payments, payouts, subscriptions, and refunds;
- communicate with you about your account, bookings, and support;
- maintain safety, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms;
- understand usage and improve the product;
- comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
3. Cookies and analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, and privacy-respecting product analytics to understand how Dogwood is used. We do not use this data to sell your information or build cross-site advertising profiles.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run Dogwood:
- With the other party to a match or booking— the client and creator see the information needed to communicate and complete the engagement.
- With service providersthat operate the platform on our behalf — for example payments (Stripe), email, hosting and database, file storage, real-time messaging, and analytics. They may process information only to provide their service to us.
- For legal reasons— to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the platform.
- In a business transfer— in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Creator profiles built from public information
To help clients discover local creators, we sometimes pre-build a creator profile from information the creator has made publicly available (such as on their own website). We credit the creator and link to their site, and the underlying photographs and creative works remain owned by the creator. If you are a creator, you can claim your profile to manage it, or ask us to remove it at any time using the removal link in our outreach or by contacting us.
6. Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide Dogwood. We may retain certain records (such as transaction and tax records) for longer where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and handling card data through our PCI-compliant payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
You can access and update your account information, and request deletion of your account, at any time. Depending on where you live (for example, California residents), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access or deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — though, as noted above, we do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
9. Children
Dogwood is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
